Metallic Rat Snake Adult F0. Besides the coloration differences, the eastern bairdi
population has a much more relaxed demeanor than the western
population. Actually, these eastern bairdi are the most laid back
rat snake with which we've ever worked. More amiable than even the corn
snake. This animal was about 20 years old and 6 ft in length when this photo was taken and never once displayed bad temper over that entire time. |
